In the often over-hyped endorsement wars in Assembly races, most announcements are no big deal. However this one, in this district, sticks out.
We just received this press release from a candidate for the open 98th Assembly District seat. Farrow's son, Senator Paul Farrow’s special election victory triggered another special election to fill the vacancy for his old district. Primary Election day is Tuesday.
The race has received a lot of attention for an Assembly race, due primarily to the controversial actions and statements of one of the candidates.
Farrow endorses Baumann for the 98th Assembly District
Pewaukee - The Ed Baumann for Assembly campaign is proud to announce that former Lieutenant Governor Margaret Farrow has endorsed Ed’s candidacy to serve the citizens of the 98th Assembly District.
“As a resident of the 98th Assembly District, I have been watching this race since my son was sworn in to the 33rd Senate seat. As informed voters should, I have talked with each of the candidates and have decided that Ed is the candidate most prepared to serve the citizens of the 98th Assembly District,” stated Farrow. “His years of public service as Chief of Police in the Village of Pewaukee, his time spent providing insight on numerous law enforcement councils, and his experience as a small business owner will provide a strong foundation and make him an integral asset to the Republican Assembly Caucus. I look forward to seeing Ed provide the same steadfast service he has demonstrated throughout his law enforcement career to the constituents of the 98th District.”
