Neither did I. But it seems the former lefty congressman is headed to town for a unionista rally and drum circle next month. According to this announcement, Kucinich will headline a rally calling for the "shutting" of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and groups like Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.

Their sin? Apparently, engaging in too much free speech and getting involved in the American political system. Shut 'em down.

Get ready for more of this: Class warfare is no longer just for elections. It's a 24/7 thing now.

(BTW: Charlie Sykes will emcee the WMC Business day event that is being protested, which should cause even more unionista heads to explode.)

Event announcement, Tuesday February 12th, in Madison

. . . Who buys the elections? Who bribes the politicans? Who writes the anti-worker and anti-environment laws? First and foremost, the answer is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its state affiliate, the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC).

Join Dennis Kucinich on the evening of Tuesday, February 12th, the fighting progressive from Ohio, former mayor of Toledo, seven term congressman, and twice presidential candidate. as he joins us in launching a national campaign to "Shut the Chamber!"

WISCONSIN DAY OF ACTION AGAINST WMC

On Wednesday, February 13th, Governor Walker is having his annual "performance review" in front of his real bosses.

No, not the people of Wisconsin. The corporate lobby group Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC), an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

February 13th is the day that WMC holds its traditional annual lobby day. It is time to end this tradition. It's time for a Wisconsin Day of Action against WMC.

We call on Wisconsinites to turn out in the hundreds to protest WMC throughout the day:

9am Unwelcoming Committee Picket

Lunch Hour (Noon) Picket

5pm Mass Rally to Shut the Chamber, Shut WMC!

We ask organizations, unions, and community leaders to contact us to endorse this day of action.

We call on people of good will to organize their own non-violent protests. We respect a diversity of non-violent tactics.

It is time to clean the house of government and remove the corporate lobbyists from the temple of democracy. It is time to shut the chamber.
