For more than two decades Fraley has worked inside Wisconsin politics and public policy. He has served as a press secretary on Capitol Hill; worked in the most senior positions in the Wisconsin state legislature; promoted free market health care as a senior executive in the health insurance industry; served on a national task force for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC); run his own consulting business advising politicians and business; and, served as a conservative pundit on both television and radio.

In 2009 he helped launch the MacIver Institute, where he continues to serve as a Senior Fellow. He describes himself as inherently skeptical of big government regardless of the party in power. He continues to work with families whose children attend online charter schools and will occasionally contribute to conservative candidates for public office.

Born in Milwaukee, Fraley is a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Brian lives in Brookfield with his wife and daughter.
